To effectively enhance employees’ emergency first-aid capabilities in the event of sudden incidents and strengthen the company’s safety production defenses, on March 31, our company specially invited the medical team from the Third People’s Hospital of Xiaoshan District to conduct a specialized training session on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Employees from all departments of the company actively signed up to participate.

Before the training officially began, the attending physician focused on practical scenarios from the company’s production site and emphasized key points for on-site protection when facing emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest or fainting. These included basic knowledge on how to quickly assess on-site safety and correctly use protective equipment to prevent cross-infection. Once the hands-on instruction phase started, the physician used human-simulation mannequins to demonstrate step-by-step the complete procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR): from assessing consciousness and breathing, making emergency calls, to precisely locating the correct position for chest compressions, controlling the appropriate depth and frequency of compressions, and following proper techniques for rescue breaths—all steps were explained in meticulous detail.

During the hands-on practice phase, the trainees were divided into groups and carried out practical exercises. Members of the medical team walked individually to each group member, offering guidance and promptly correcting issues such as insufficient compression depth, irregular rhythm, and improper techniques for artificial respiration. They also repeatedly demonstrated the standard procedures, ensuring that every employee could master the core skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation with confidence. The learning atmosphere on-site was vibrant and enthusiastic; employees practiced diligently, actively asked questions, and all expressed that they had gained a great deal from the training.

This cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills training has enabled employees to systematically master practical first-aid skills, effectively addressing the shortcomings in emergency response capabilities within our company’s safe production practices. Moving forward, our company will continue to focus on enhancing employees’ safety skills by regularly conducting various emergency training sessions and drills, continuously improving our enterprise’s safety management system, and ensuring both employees’ occupational safety and the stable development of the company.
